Kelly Kershaw

Trial Coordinator

Kelly is a researcher in the School of Psychology at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). She completed a Bachelor of Arts with distinction and a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours at UNSW, where her Honours research explored the epigenetic mechanisms of addiction.

With over 10 years of experience in both pre-clinical and clinical research, Kelly has focused on understanding mental health across the lifespan, including the impact of motherhood on fear learning and the development of treatments for anxiety. She has worked with a wide range of people, including adults from at-risk groups in community settings.

For the past three years, Kelly has managed the UNSW and School Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) clinics, supporting the delivery of PCIT in both clinical and primary school settings. She is passionate about early intervention and is dedicated to helping children with conduct problems thrive by improving their mental health, wellbeing, and relationships through PCIT. Kelly is especially excited to be leading the expansion of School PCIT, making this evidence-based intervention more accessible to families across New South Wales and beyond.
