Jessica Deng
Psychologist/Clinical Psychology Registrar
Jessica is a registered Psychologist and a Clinical Psychology Registrar. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology Science (First Class Honours) from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Clinical psychology from the University of Sydney.
Jessica has experience working therapeutically across the lifespan in a variety of clinical settings including public health, school, and university. In addition to her role at the Parent-Child Research clinic, she is involved in research at the University of Sydney focused on prevention and early intervention for mental health disorders and substance use.
Jessica takes a warm, person-centred, and strength-based approach combined with evidence-based research in child development and parent-child relationships. She works collaboratively with families to support parents and children build strong, positive relationships and foster more safety, connection, and joy in their everyday lives.
